News — Recent posts box split

One of the negative sides of writing the C++ tutorial as blog posts (which I’m doing for a variety of reasons) is that it keeps filling up my recent posts box, knocking other non-tutorial content down.

No more!

Thanks to Erik’s Widgetize Anything plugin, and Rob Marsh’s Recent Posts plugin, the recent posts now splits recent tutorial posts into their own subsection. This should help everyone locate non-tutorial content more easily.

I apologize to anybody who bookmarked a page that now returns a 404 error -- I had to go into the database and muck with a few filenames that had garbage characters in them, or the wrong section number for the tutorial. That should be all cleared up now, so bookmark away!
